The countdown to Christmas has begun — and it all starts right here.

On Thursday 6 November, the world-famous Spirit of Christmas lights will once again soar above Regent Street and St James’s, officially marking the start of the festive season in London. As the Spirits light up the skies, they’ll bring that unmistakable festive magic that transforms our neighbourhood into one of the capital’s most enchanting destinations.

This year’s display, designed by James Glancy Design Ltd, will feature over 30 radiant Spirits stretching across St James’s Market, Glasshouse Street, Swallow Street and Quadrant Arcade — dazzling displays you won't want to miss.

The lights will switch on from early evening, creating a more sustainable and beautifully atmospheric start to the season.

Save the date and join us as the festive spirit returns to St James’s and Regent Street.
